Gangjin has some 180 porcelain kiln sites of blue china with exquisite colors baked in the Goryeo dynasty. You can take a pleasant walk around Mt. Madeok with the cottage of realist scholar, Dasan Yakyong Jeong as well as visit Baekryeonsa temple. Dasan was exiled to this cottage for a while. Baekryeonsa served as the center of the Buddhism restoration movement in the Goryeo dynasty. Muisa temple with a one thousand history is located to the south of Mt. Wolchul, and it has two summits of Cheonhwangbong and Gujeongbong on its sides. Also, Geukrakbojeon of Muisa is preserved as natural treasure No. 13.
