Gangjin has some 180 porcelain kiln sites of blue china with exquisite colors baked in the Goryeo dynasty. You can take a pleasant walk around Mt. Madeok with the cottage of realist scholar, Dasan Yakyong Jeong as well as visit Baekryeonsa temple. Dasan was exiled to this cottage for a while. Baekryeonsa served as the center of the Buddhism restoration movement in the Goryeo dynasty. Muisa temple with a one thousand history is located to the south of Mt.
